Business Profile
Lander1 Property Management is a family-owned entity that rents small, single family houses in Normal Illinois. The houses are located just a few blocks from Uptown Normal, a vibrant area with restaurants, bars, quaint shops, and an Amtrak train station. Uptown Normal is also the site for the town's various festivals and special events. Public transportation and the Constitution Trail (a lengthy, public walking/bicycle path) are nearby.
Lander1 Property Management are rented for increments of one year. They are pet friendly. As a benefit to the tenant, a one-time non-refundable pet fee is charged that covers the pet(s) for the full term of the lease instead of raising the rent each month for the life of the lease. The Town of Normal has, what is referred to as a '12 paw' ordinance which means only three pets are allowed in a property.
Lander1 Property Management properties are smoke-free environments.
Tenants are responsible for all utilities, snow removal, and lawn mowing.
The application process to rent a Lander1 Property Management includes the completion of a rental application, which includes authorization to obtain a credit report for each applicant and a nominal application fee to cover the cost of the credit report(s). The security deposit is always the same as the rent. It is required with the application. This security deposit holds the property for the applicant. No other application will be considered at the same time. This security deposit will be returned promptly if the application is denied. Approval criteria are very similar to lender approval to purchase property.
Lander1 Property Management is owned and operated by David Lander and Karen Stailey-Lander. Karen is a licensed Real Estate Managing Broker. It is important to note she does not represent tenants. She is working in her own best interests.
