PURPOSE
The purpose of Mid Illinois Real Estate Referral, LLC (MIRER) is to efficiently handle referrals from real estate brokers who want to maintain their license but are transitioning out of a full-time sales capacity. Our referral company provides the opportunity for Brokers to channel business and foster the client relationships they have established during active years in the business, while earning income and significantly reducing expenses
LICENSURE/AFFILIATION
Mid Illinois Real Estate Referral, LLC is licensed with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
It is an Affiliate Member of the Mid Illinois Realtors Association.
HOW IT WORKS
-Mid Illinois Real Estate Referral, LLC Brokers refer clients, they do not list or sell.-Referrals may be placed with Real Estate Brokers/Brokerages around the country.-MIRER Brokers do not belong to a Realtor association or multiple listing service. -Broker can transfer their license and revert back to an active status at any time.
MANAGEMENT
Karen Stailey-Lander is the Designated Managing Broker of Mid Illinois Real Estate Referral, LLC. She was very active in the Mid Illinois Realtors Association (MIRA) for 40 years, serving as President, Director and several Committee Chair positions. She is a recipient of the MIRA Lifetime Achievement Award. Karen was a licensed. Real Estate Instructor and taught the Realtors’ Pre-License class for several years. She was also active in the Illinois Realtors organization, serving as a Director, State Legislative Contact, Ombudsman, and on various committees. Karen remains active as an Affiliate Member of the Mid Illinois Realtors Association and the Illinois Realtors.
